As the image above reads: Greetings from Florida!!!

We finished our trek from Kansas on April 15th and Carrie has been in New York this past week for orientation. There will be pictures once she gets back from the Big Apple.

So far, here are a few of the things I love about Florida:

  • No state income tax
  • No sales tax on food items

And things I don’t like about Florida:

  • Auto insurance is through the roof
  • Traffic (fewer cars on the road, yet it takes forever to get to where you need to go)

    I’m not sure yet. I haven’t purchased any beer since I arrived. Well, I have at a restaurant, but that food is taxed. Any food at the store isn’t taxed.
